Default Unlocking Heroes

I am not sure if this is the current forum for this. But whats the point of unlocking heroes for pvp now? There not even permitted. However, the Priest overs them for 3k Balth each. Why hasn't ANET removed this feature yet? People who now spend balth for unlocking them now will be highly disappointed... as you can't use heroes in PVP.

I /sign that they should remove this feature. It's now worthless.

You can use them at the Zaishen Elite and stuff.... and testing in Nameless. It still has a point, just not a very good one.

Why bother? Everyone's unlocked them all by now anyways.

Also, unlockign hero unlocks his skillbar. You can get 5k worth of skills for 3k.

They were thinking that it was a PVP mode played seriously by a small subset of the community, highly unbalanced through lack of skill balancing, controlled predominantly by limited number of gimmicks and overwhelmed by Red Resigners.

Also you do know you can go into a PVP version of Nameless. And you can try out skill bar synergy, damage output etc, so hardly pointless. Limited, yes, but not pointless.

to op wow you just reminded me of this. i forgot about this part of no heros in pvp. yeah i unlocked my heros a lot time ago. and i can see your point. besides if you're going to "test" something in isle of nameless why use a hero? why not just do it yourself?

Yes, they left it there misleading newbies to waste their factions by unlocking heroes, intentionally or not. It is dumb and it makes players mad at them.

Many things don't make sense in GW PvP. Skill points for PvP characters is also useless.

Heroes are still used to transfer PvP reward skin weapons between PvP characters. If they delete heroes for PvP characters, they delete that option.

Also, Heroes should be usable in Zaishen Combat & Elite.

/notsigned.

I don't think you can use them even in ZE anymore. So... testing in nameless ftw.
